Heather Paul Featherman

Heather was born and raised in New England and first visited Crested Butte in 1990 and was back to stay in 1993. Heather graduated from the Northfield Mount Hermon School and the University of Vermont. A passionate skier with a love for the mountains, Heather has remained in Crested Butte to raise her family.

Heather realized her dream of skiing professionally for over 2 decades. Heather started her own company, Ultimate Groove, hosting ski camps and clinics internationally. She’s graced the cover of Skiing Magazine, been featured in articles for Powder Magazine, Backcountry, Outside, Women’s Sport & Fitness, Freeskier and appeared in several ski movies, her latest in 2014 in Warren Miller’s No Turning Back. She still remains actively involved in the ski industry as a member of the K2 Alliance Team designing and developing women’s products for K2 skis.

Her love of the valley, both its beauty and the community, lead her to a second career in real estate. Heather focuses on both residential and commercial property and is excited to share her experiences and insights. Heather’s love of working with people and her vast knowledge of the market and history in the valley have proved to be a successful combination.
When she is not in the office, you can find Heather on the slopes and trails enjoying the incredible beauty the valley has to offer.
